If you don't ever utter the phrase “Don’t worry, I know a guy,” then you’ve been hanging out in the wrong circles. In the world of cars, that guy everyone should know is a gentleman by the name of Vincent Russo. For the unfamiliar, Vinny has been a fixture in the automotive community for more than a decade, making a name for himself at such companies as Spyker, Maserati, Hennessey, and Lamborghini. He’s a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to getting things done, which is why he recently moved to Miami, Florida to work with possibly the premier organization for finding, sorting, and restoring vintage and collectible supercars – Curated.

On this episode of the Hemmings Hot Rod BBQ Podcast, we sit down with Vinny and go through what it takes to find the most Interesting examples of these such rare and exotic vehicles, and how challenging It can be to restore them. And, more importantly, what these cars are actually like behind the wheel.

We also take a look at a fully restored, 1 of 11, purple over cream interior, 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30. Is it for everyone? Well, no, but it is one hell of a thing to look at, plus it’s got a wicked mid-mounted V-12 and a gated shifter!
