Aside from being a photographer, filmmaker and rabid auto
enthusiast, Douglas Sonders is also the co-founder of 8112 Studios,
a production house that produces some beautifully shot branded
content. And while shooting stories for other people is always a
wonderful experience, sometimes it’s nice to document projects that
you’ve been working on.
Enter “Project Winston”, the widebody Porsche 911 Safari that’s
being constructed by Douglas and his buddy Tim Harney of Tim Harney
Designs and documented right here on Hemmings own YouTube channel.
To gain insight into the genesis of the build and what it’s going
to take, we sat down with Douglas and Tim so they could walk us
through the ins and outs of what promises to be one hell of an
outrageous streetcar upon completion.
